We regularly get asked these questions....

Do you only make shops?

No! The inspiration behind the name was our desire to make money for our clients using the web. With this in mind, we developed our CMS (which happens to be incredibly good and efficient for managing retail sites). But we actually do all sort of things, from copywriting to photography, and all sorts of web projects.

We are smart, we are creative and between us have worked for many years on a very wide range of digital, print and technology projects for clients and agencies. We love what we do, we are hardworking, we get truly involved with our clients and their businessess and we deliver solutions that work across all types of media.

How much does a website cost?

That's like asking 'How much does a car cost?' and is very difficult to answer. If you can give us a bit more information when you ask this question it helps us work out a more realistic estimate. The sort of questions we might ask are:

What it is you want your site to do?
What kind of control do you need over your content?
What visual, photographic and copy assets do you have already? What do you need?
Who is going to manage and look after the content during the site build and in the future?
Do you have any existing IT systems or software that the site will need to talk to?
and so on...

We realise that sometimes it's hard to identify what you want - so talk to us. We are very good at helping you define your needs and it makes it much easier for us to get a cost together... plus we may have some great ideas that you hadn't even considered.

How long will it take?

This will depend on the size and complexity of your project, and depends on answers to some of the questions above. When we know the scope of your project we will break it down into tasks and deliverables, and split the work up into several phases (usually 3 or 4). This means that you can retain control and governance over your project, signing off work as we go along. We will make sure you are completely happy and comfortable with progress at every step.

I've seen a site I love. Can I have the same thing?

You are unique, and your website will be too. We will be really interested to see what you like, and we will also look at your competition and see what they are doing. We'll talk to you about your customers and what you need your website to do for your business. The end result will be a website that you love, but it will be tailored to fit you and you alone.

How easy is it to make changes to my website?

This is what sets us apart from the competition. Our CMS is so easy to use. Your version of our CMS will be 'bespoke' so there are no complicated or redundant menus and options. We deliver a content management tool that leaves you completely independent and in control.

Most of our clients only need a 1/2 hour chat with us, either in person or over the phone to get to grips with their CMS. And if they have reasonably good, basic computer skills never ask us for support again. It can be a bit harder for users who have no computer skills at all... we can help them but it may take more time and cost a little more for us to get them up and running.

How do I get my site to the top of Google?

You will need to optimize your site so that search engine software can 'rank' you against key words and terms that you think your high-value visitors will use to find you on Google. We don't do this for you, but we give you the tools, within our CMS for you to do it for yourself really well. If you can give your site the time it takes to optimize it on an ongoing basis, looking at Google Analytics Reporting and  making tweaks and changes to your content, you should get a good result. We can offer advice on what you need to look for and where to focus your energy when optimizing your site. Alternatively, you can find specialists who will do this for you.

We strongly recommend that you view search engine rankings as part of the marketing mix. You need to give equal focus to converting site visitors into sales/leads etc. and this means giving care and attention to your brand and user experience.
