WAM is a revolutionary range of professional hair styling products created by International Editorial Hairstylist Neil Moodie, and Paul Windle, owner of London's famed Windle Salon.
Windle and Moodie needed a website that would convey their exclusive but approachable new brand. The products are top-of-the-range and previously were only available to the most celebrated hairstylists, so their shopping site needed to do much more than sell on price. WAM turned to We Make Little Shops for both their design and technology needs and the result is a beautiful looking site, supported by our intuitive Content Management System.
The design, the content and, under the hood, the Content Management System all work to provide a search engine-friendly site, capitalising on PR activity surrounding the launch of the brand and its evolution.
After the recent launch of wamhair.com, the WAM team have decided to expand on its success and integrate full e-commerce, which will be available soon. Paul Windle has also asked We Make Little Shops to redevelop his Windle Salon website, which will be launching in early September.
Neil Moodie created a set of beautiful images illustrating the looks that can be achieved with his new products. These bring to life the heritage of his new product range. Rooted in the fashion industry, it marries glamour with technical innovation.
Louise worked with Natasha Modelina, Windle Salon and WAM's designer, and Packshot to re-photograph the new products. The products use soft-touch rubber and flashes of red on black. We brought out the detail of their design quality, their texture and their unique ergonomic features in our photoshoot. The site allows users to zoom in on these details to make a truly informed decision to buy.
